Description

Long Cam Vietnamese Coffee Filter

Manufactured in Vietnam from food-grade stainless steel this Vietnamese Coffee Filter is very high quality, known as a “Phin Cà Phê” in the Vietnamese language. The Vietnamese Coffee Filter will allow you to brew delicious Cà Phê Sữa Đá at home.

Innovative three piece design and a metal handle instead of the plastic knobs found on many other designs.
The gravity damper boasts weight enough to stay in place when adding water which prevents the coffee from “blooming”. Which is a common problem with the cheap aluminum Vietnamese coffee filters.

  • The traditional way to make Delicious Cà Phê Sữa Đá like in Vietnamese Phở restaurants. The Vietnamese Coffee Filter is used in Coffee shops all across Vietnam.
  • Built to last for many years. The three-piece design is very easy to use and can be quickly cleaned afterward. Dishwasher Safe.
  • A fun way to make coffee. Quick, Inexpensive, Reusable, Lightweight for travel, or backpacking.
  • The 6Q is for brewing ~4 oz. The 7Q is for brewing ~6 oz. The 8Q will brew ~8 oz. The 9Q will brew ~10 oz.
  • Especially important tip: After placing coffee grounds in the Filter and placing the damper into the chamber press the grounds and leaving the damper inside pour only a small of water into the chamber, then waiting about 10 seconds for the coffee grounds to get saturated before filling the chamber with water, it will prevent the Vietnamese Coffee “Bloom” problem. We highly recommend Trung Nguyen Coffee or Anni Coffee both from Vietnam and they will be the correct Grind. Or try grinding your own for the freshest coffee, try Chestbrew Vietnamese Coffee.
  • Also keeping in mind that the milk and the ice melting will increase the amount of Vietnamese Coffee that will be consumed.

Awesome This thing is awesome! Makes perfect cup. Better than bialetti, better than turkish! Uses way less bean than anything else, ideal pour over as retaining grounds on bottom of upper chamber acts as natural filter, no more filters to buy! Very little grit, no need to decant. I don't use condensed milk, so I can't comment. A delicious, best cup I've had, cup of kopi. My only negative is some edges feel sharp, so use a sponge not hand to clean. I was gonna get aluminum version, but I don't want to have to soak in vinegar to clean tarnish. alum is maybe not good for mind also! Size: 7Q

Overpriced It is smaller than the standard size and overpriced. I found a better one in Lion market for half of the price. So disappointed Size: 7Q

Good coffee Easy to use. Instructions on how to brew the coffee would’ve been nice. But there are videos out there to watch.

Still looking...... Damper is not a screw-on so there's no way it can compress the coffee grounds so when you pour the first little bit of hot water, the coffee grounds float over the top of the damper. Size: 8Q

Very good product and design! Great little coffee maker and I enjoyed the process- still leaves a bit of coffee grain, but pouring through a paper filter takes that small bit away- Size: 8Q

Beautiful, simple, maker of wonderful iced coffee First had coffee from these on a small Caribbean island, Little Corn. Desideri, owned by an Italian and a Canadian, made iced coffee (with condensed milk) using these little guys. By far, the best coffee I had on my three week vacation to Central America and the Caribbean. Ordered some of these so I could continue to enjoy it once I got home. These are highly recommended and name lovely gifts too. Size: 7Q
