Classy and better looking than the price suggests; tricky to use This clamp is quite pretty. No rough edges, the stone looks like quartz or crystal, but not the cheap kind. It is well faceted. The metal work is intricate. So all in all, rather beautiful. But the clamp mechanism itself is a bit odd. To best explain, imaging laying one arm elbow up over the other, when you fold them in front of you. It is tricky to get into your hair. I found that pushing one side firmly in, then letting the other clamp just fold over all that is gathered in the first clamp works best. But then 1. you don't get to clamp much hair, and 2. you have to fiddle with it to balance it in place. Color: Gray

Very pretty but doesn't hold up my hair This is a gorgeous hair clip & I wanted to love it but it doesn't hold my hair up. It has a weak hold. I am returning it. Color: Red

Exquisite vintage charm! Though just slightly smaller than I expected (but not extremely so), I was happy with this purchase. The hair clip has a lovely vintage appeal and design, and it didn't snag my hair at all (which I experience a lot). One piece of advice I would add is that I secured it with a couple of bobby pins to keep it in place; however, I wore this to a wedding, where a lot of dancing and general shenanigans would be occurring, so I would expect that, on a normal day, it would stay in place as expected.
